Mary C. Sciotto, Psy.D.

Marcy SciottoDr. Sciotto is a licensed clinical psychologist and has been in private practice for over 20 years and in the mental health field for nearly 30 years. She works with individuals and couples, focusing on issues including depression, anxiety, grief work, women’s issues, communication skills, and personal growth. She has extensive experience working with same sex couples, sexual orientation and gender identity issues. In addition, she enjoys working with seniors and individuals dealing with chronic and acute health issues. Dr. Sciotto implements a blend of solution focused therapy, cognitive approaches, transpersonal psychology and compassionate support in order to assist her clients in overcoming emotional blocks and achieving improved insight and self-understanding.

Dr. Sciotto received her doctorate in clinical psychology (Psy.D.) and master's in clinical psychology (MA) from American School of Professional Psychology in Honolulu, Hawai’i and her undergraduate degree in psychology (BA) from University of Hawai’i, Manoa. She completed her doctoral internship at Maui Youth and Family Services and worked for several years with the Hawai’i Dept of Health, Castle Medical Center Inpatient Mental Health Services in Kailua, Hawai’i, and other family service agencies.
